Fairytales

Everyone grew up reading fairytales, or at least they grew up with the knowledge of a fairytale. Wither it be Disney's always happy version, or Grimm's dark version, there was an influence in your life that had something to do with the mythical.

Now that I am an adult (age only, not behavior) I know that fairytales aren't fact. However there is still truth in those stories. Tonight my favorite t.v. show comes back after it's mid-season break. Once Upon A Time.

If you couldn't guess from the title, Once is a show about fairytales with some very modern twists. For example, Belle is in love with Rumpelstiltskin, Snow White and Prince Charming have a daughter named Emma Swan. Her son is the adopted son of the Evil Queen, who is also Snow White's step-mother. Emma and Captain Hook are falling in love and Peter Pan is evil. Like twisted, make your skin crawl, evil. E-V-I-L.The story line gets confusing and forget about a clean and understandable family tree with these characters (it seems like EVERYONE is related on this show).

But at the core of the show is hope. Hope for a better life, for a family, for love. The true message is hope. And that is what we need in this world right now. The acting is outstanding, the actors are so nice and they truly love their fans and their job.

Needless to say, I am extremely excited for 7 o'clock tonight! I can't wait to start watching it again!
